 Manx flies on Phillis' equipment after after competing in the Isle of Man Junior TT 1958. Placed 32nd and received a silver replica with a time of 3.06.48.2 at a speed of 84.84mph. Tom Phillis at the Gooseneck, IOM in the 125 TT in 1962 where surprisingly he raced Honda's prototype production racer, not the works bike. He had a great fight with his team mate Irishman Tommy Robb who just beat him for 2nd place. Info and photo Roy Nixon.
Tom Phillis coming in from practice on 25-9-60 on the Domiracer Norton which he had rode earlier in the year at the Senior TT to 3rd place. It was unusual for a works Japanese rider to be allowed to ride for another company, this practice soon finished. Info and photo Roy Nixon.

Mallory Park, UK. The highlight of the season was the 'Race of the Year' which attracted a world class entry and the aces always came as there was a £1.000 prize which in those days was a lot of money, This shot of Tom Phillis was taken in the paddock at Mallory Park on 24-9-61.
